Denzel is a corporate and commercial lawyer with expertise in capital markets transactions, investment funds (including Variable Capital Companies), private wealth management (including Single Family Offices) and general corporate advisory matters.

Denzel advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. His practice areas include capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and investment funds (such as the setting up of single-family offices (SFOs) and variable capital companies in Singapore).

Denzel has acted for clients in various applications to the SGX-ST as well as the MAS (e.g., applications for a tax exemption under Section 13O of the Income Tax Act 1947).

Denzel’s expertise lies in drafting and tailoring agreements and documents that are well-suited for his clients’ needs. His experience includes drafting shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements, sale and purchase agreements, employment agreements, service agreements, personal data protection policies, escrow agreements, guarantees, settlement agreements etc.

Prior to joining Forte Law LLC, Denzel practised at Insights Law LLC (previously known as ZICO Insights Law LLC) where he acted for clients ranging from listed companies to fund managers in high-value transactions. Before that, he was part of a retail collective investment schemes practice at another boutique corporate law firm.

Denzel graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB, Hons).
